Data is organized, configuration files are parameterized, and naming conventions are standardized. Environmental or anthropogenic data may be integrated, and baseline soundscape metrics and are calculated with optional addition of other acoustic indices.

PAMGuard Semi-Automated Workflow
Data is processed using PAMGuard
with tested configurations tailored to priority marine mammal species, producing detailed detection outputs for downstream analysis. Final analysis is post-processed using PAMPal for acoustic event extraction.Ā

Deep Learning Integration
Custom neural networks fromĀ DeepAcoustics are applied for specific calls, multi-class detection,Ā or clustering vocal repertoires - improving results in complex or noisy datasets.Ā

Delivery via PAMPortal
Final data products are delivered through PAMPortal, a cloud-based tool offering transparent, filterable access to processed acoustic detections and metrics.
